This infographic contains more text that some designers would allow. I feel that creative and informative infographics are much more than a string of charts and bar graphs scattered on the page.
A well designed infographic can be a data visualization, information design, or a narrative. It would be very difficult to design an infographic outlining an event from history with bar graphs and pie charts. Sometimes text is necessary, but I agree, it shouldn’t be an essay. We must think outside the box and present our great ideas in a way that makes sense to the average person.
If your infographics are being posted on blogs or websites, social sharing buttons or links must be convenient for visitors to share them. If you need help in presenting your ideas visually, please check out my small business web design and graphic design services.
