Your thoughts and ideas transformed into a user-friendly business website.
My goal in small business website design is to take your thoughts and ideas and transform them into an attractive website that is both user and search engine friendly. After all, your website will represent your company to thousands of online visitors and you only get one chance to make a good first impression.
You probably have questions, so I’ve put together some things you should expect during the web design process.
Quality Website Design Begins With An Open Line Of Communication
In order for us to design a small business website that truly reflects the purpose and personality of your business, we have to get to the heart of your business. This initial phase requires a lot of questions. We have to nail down exactly what makes your business different and better than the others in your industry.
We will send you a questionnaire requesting necessary business information. If you already have an existing logo, we’ll need that. We will need a high-resolution image of the logo (300 dpi) or the original artwork files. We may also need several quality photos of your products or services or jobs completed.
During Website Design We’ll Need Your Feedback
We want you to be satisfied with every step of your website design process, so we will ask for feedback from time to time. We ask that you provide timely feedback and we promise to do the same for you. We value your opinion and will always be honest with you about your website design. If we feel that something isn’t going to work well on your site, we’ll tell you.
Website Design Takes Some Good Ideas
Once we receive all the information we need from you, we’ll begin designing the concept for your small business website. This always begins on a notepad. Once the layout and other design features are hashed out (this can take several hours), the actual design of the web page begins.
Your Website Design Must Be Attractive And User Friendly
Here’s where all the pencil sketches come together to form just the right proof for your web page. The colors must be right. The site navigation must be convenient and easy to use. The graphics must be relevant to your business. The sentences and paragraphs must be short, simple, and to the point. Once the proof of the web page is finished, we will send it to you for approval. It is here that we make the revisions to make sure we are both satisfied.
Your Website Is Finished So Let The World See It
During the initial phase of your website design, you have already furnished us with the log in information for your site’s web hosting company. We will upload all website files to your host server and send you the link to the uploaded website. Your website is now ready to share on social media networks and promote in your emails, website directories, etc.
